Four times "F"

It was a weekend of four times "F" - Fun, Fashion, Friendship and Family.

When I met her it was a tough time for me and she went with her straight way of being strictly into my friendship heart. This was 7 years ago... Now we sit here with a Chai Tea (not Tai Chi! ;)) at Starbucks and talk about the life, love, her kid and most important at all - her birthday. She will be in the 35 club tomorrow and we honestly do not know when that happened ;)))) Turning 30 was cool, I mean this was the real step to be now a woman and not a girl anymore. And now the years are passing, we start having tiny tiny crinkles around the eyes (definitly because we laugh too much!!!) and 40 - the new thirties - are coming closer and closer. Times are passing by and so many things in our lives are happening. New jobs, new friends, engagement, wedding, divorce, kids, hapiness, sadness,... and the weirdest thing is: We haven´t changed!! We are still the same girls - drinking Prosecco, able to laugh about one thing for hours, crying together, watching romances and coming to the conclusio that this is just a movie and all these kind of stuff. She - the mother of the cutest boy in the world, with the everlasting relationship - and me - no kids, no boyfriend (is it still ok to say that at the age of 35?)... We couldn´t be more different but maybe this is the reason why we like each other so much. The other one is living the life we maybe dream sometimes of and we learn that we both have our ups and downs and it is good the way it is.

And now I have this gorgeous new dress with me and we talk about how to style hairs and what accessoires to wear. As if we never had any trouble in our life and she is smiling at me and I remember when we were sitting in the car to the hospital and she held my hand so strong - we didn´t say any word, it was just be there for the other one - and I felt that she is the best friend you need to have in your life . And I will definitly never forget that!
